Todoist Keep Completed Tasks Visible



I have a flow setup that creates a Todoist task when an Outlook Task is created. This works well. When I complete the task in Todoist I want the Outlook task to also get marked as completed. I have a flow setup to do this but it is failing. The outlook task action is asking for a 'task' to delete. Is this the name of the task or is it a number id? Go to filters, then click “Add Filter” and title it Eisenhower Matrix. Under query, enter “ p1, p2, p3, p4”. Your highest priority tasks will appear near the top of each daily to-do list in your Today and Upcoming views (tasks with both a due date and time will appear first regardless of priority level). Use your inbox to capture tasks. I use my inbox to capture tasks throughout the day that will then be. Make your Todoist task - This is where the magic happens imho. You will now see the familiar Todoist task entry screen with all of its regular functions like assigning projects, labels, due dates, priority, etc., with Todoist's awesome natural language processing.

In the activity log (Pro and Business only) In your activity log you’ll be able to view your completed tasks (including recurring tasks) from all projects. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of Todoist and select Activity log. While viewing the activity log, click on All actions. Next, select Completed tasks.

Start the task name with an asterisk followed by a space. “* Meeting preparations” This will create a Todoist task without the usual circle in front of it.

Todoist tips no 7: Add multiple tasks by using copy and paste

What is the easiest way to add multiple tasks to Todoist? Use a text editor.

  1. Start by making a list in your favorite text editor. It can be Word, TextPad, Evernote, or any other application.
  2. Make a list with each task on a separate line. Use hard return (Enter).
  3. Copy the text.
  4. Click + Add Task in Todoist. You then get a question, “Do you want to add X tasks?”
  5. Answer “Yes”. (If you answer “No” the text will be pasted as a continuous text in a single task.)

Create a task in Todoist followed by a “:”. This will create a task without the usual circle in front of it, followed by a colon. This is also a great way to make a heading for a list of subtasks.

Re-using a project is easy using the project templates function. One way to speed up this process is to add the web link to a project in the project comments of the same project. To do this, do the following:

  1. Open the project you want to use as a template.
  2. In the top-righthand corner, click on the project actions icon.
  3. Select “Export as a template”.
  4. Click on the button “Export as shareable URL”.
  5. Select “Copy link to clipboard” and close the dialogue box.
  6. Click on the project comments icon.
  7. Paste the link and Click “Add comment”.

Now, all you have to do to re-use this project is to click on the link in the project comments and choose which project to import into.

Todoist is a great app for many reasons – but some of the features can be difficult to find.

Viewing completed tasks is one of those features that took me some time to figure out and I get asked how to view completed tasks from time to time.

You can watch this short video to see exactly how to do it – there are 2 main ways to see your completed tasks.

Sky go reddit. However, if you aren’t a premium user you are somewhat limited as you cannot see ALL completed tasks.

That shouldn’t stop you from using this great app though, and if you’re a productivity oriented person who likes to use the method of completed task review one a daily or weekly basis you should really ante up for the premium app – it’s a couple of dollars per month and well worth it.
